Synopsis
Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they’ve faced before. With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance. The directors of the previous films have mentioned playing both Sonikku adobenchâ 2 (2001) and the solo game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) for inspiration. The film is also inspired by narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993). Commander Walters: [on Shadow] The Shadow project is far beyond anything we’ve encountered before. Shadow’s story began much like yours, Sonic.
