Series, medium-length telephoto lens
Synopsis
Catherine Ravenscroft, a TV documentary journalist who has long been dedicated to exposing the wrongdoings of respected institutions, says the following. Such a lens will not be able to focus on close subjects like a selfie with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine. Update after the finale: I lowered it from 8 to 7.
Three words from Cate Blanchett and everything will become clear immediately
In the end it is a very simple story only it is complicated by narrative devices, which I suppose are the most important of all. The main problem is that people behave like real people and do not react. An example of this is coworkers who decide to instantly hate an old man for his rants.
Bad reviews are hard to understand
By the way, even in the book version of the events there is no reason to hate her so much. Finally, “men are bad, stupid or weak, women are good” a bit really boring now. People decide halfway through the story, when they don’t have all the pieces, that there are holes in the plot.
So beautiful it hurts my eyes
Others thought the seduction scene was hilarious – obviously they weren’t men, it was amazing and the actress playing the younger version of Cate Blanchett was fantastic. I’m willing to wait until the end to rate and review it. But the sheer stupidity of the negative reviews forced me to write something.
The cinematography is great, the actors are great and the story is gripping
I don’t know how it will hold up when it lands, but for now, highly recommended.
