Posted by MsMojo: The 10 Best Teen Original Shows on Netflix (2020) After watching all 3 seasons of Outer Banks, I can’t deny that I was entertained and entertained: all episodes are full of fast-paced adventures, treasure hunts and villain chases, all in exotic locations and with romantic entanglements.

So what’s not to like!? Well, I have some reservations too. All the events are very far-fetched and unreal: like how this group of teenage friends manage to repeatedly escape right under the noses of the police or heavily armed criminals, often in a hail of bullets, but always unscathed; or how they solve incredible mysteries (for example, treasures hidden forever or the location of the legendary El Dorado) with a flick of the wrist or through a stroke of luck.
Actually, it’s more of a teen series
illustrate the importance of true friendship, but their juvenile behavior slowly gets on your nerves along with all the bros and pals and the inevitable upside-down baseball caps. And of course silly nicknames like JJ, Pope and John B (what’s the B for anyway?). They all look good, but the acting is just adequate, with only Drew Starkey really standing out as the troubled Rafe, and Rudy Pankow being quite convincing as the resourceful, ADHD-ridden JJ.

Maybe as a mature enough person I shouldn’t watch it at all, but sometimes it’s nice to go easy and nice without thinking too much. The very last scene of season 3 laid the groundwork for another season, I hope I can’t resist it. Again..
