The filmmakers used what they already had at their disposal
Synopsis
After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to the spooky town of Miles County where he targets a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. The haunted house scenes in “Terrifier” were filmed in a real haunted house called the Fright Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Art’s favorite acid is fluoroantimonic acid, which he has in a clear glass bottle. It is a super acid capable of dissolving even glass.
Art the Clown:
There is a mid-credits scene in a mental hospital with Chris Jericho as security guard Alan Burke and Leah Voysey as a nurse. Tiberius Film’s German DVD and Blu-ray releases were cut by approximately three minutes to achieve the “18 Free” rating (which was necessary because the guidelines for video releases are stricter than for indoor releases). Basically every violent scene was cut to tone down the violence. Nameless Media 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Mediabook releases are completely uncut and have received a light SPIO/JK approval.

The Equalizer (Not Alone) Written by Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle (as Jamison Tyler Lyle) Performed by The Midnight Courtesy of BMG Platinum Songs U.S. (BMI). So I accepted this project hoping it would be the same format as the first one. A psycho clown meets strangers and takes them out in creepy ways for 90 minutes.
What happened is not that
Don’t get me wrong, the brutality is turned up to 11 and they made it a little funnier. But there were really drawn-out scenes. And I thought they did that to establish a plot and story that was worth watching. They even set up some plots that at first seemed like one hell of a sequel.
It’s so disappointing I could go on and on about it, but why bother
But by the time the credits rolled, not a single question had been answered, nor had the plot been resolved.
